METALLICA's LARS ULRICH Dons Pink Turban For Indian Wedding Of Former DROPBOX CFO SUJAY JASWA: Photo

September 10, 2018

METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich and his wife wore Indian attire to the wedding of Sujay Jaswa, the former CFO of Dropbox, and Eleni Greenwood this past weekend in San Franciscso, California.

Ulrich sported a pink turban while his wife, American fashion model Jessica Miller, donned a bright-colored saree.

Miller shared an Instagram photo of her and her husband at the event, captioning it: "First Indian Wedding!"

Ulrich, who has lived in scenic Marin County, north of San Francisco, since the 1990s, told the Scandinavian Traveler that he is very passionate about his hometown.

"It's a brilliant city," he said. "It feels like the future is being created in the San Francisco region, with the entire tech world here. It's an exciting place to live and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else in America."

METALLICA kicked off the 2018/2019 U.S. leg of the "WorldWired" arena tour on September 2 at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin.

Touring in support of its latest album, "Hardwired… To Self-Destruct", that arrived in November 2016, METALLICA launched the world tour in Latin America a month before the disc's release. In early 2017, prior to the North American stadium tour, the band made festival appearances and headlined concerts at venues in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Although METALLICA played U.S. stadiums last summer, the band was mostly indoors for the first leg of its European tour last fall.
